'The plane was shaking before we even moved' - travelers recount fear after Mexican plane crash
Travelers have recounted their dread as a burst of wind and beating hail wallop a jetliner minutes after take-off in northern Mexico and sent it crushing down into a field close to the runway. Unnerved travelers mixed to escape as flares and blinding dark smoke emitted around them on Tuesday. Every one of the 103 on board survived the crash. "It's few out of every odd day you sort of tumble from the sky and live to tell about it," said Alberto Herrera, a 35-year-old website page design from Chicago. Jose Luis Corral, a 52-year-old entrepreneur from Portland, Oregon, concurred. "It is ideal that we're all alive," he stated, as yet wearing a neck support from wounds he endured in the crash.
